Job summary

MiCiM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of complex data centre projects. You will drive procurement, cost control and final accounts, ensuring robust commercial governance across multi‑million pound schemes.

You’ll mentor project teams, shape risk and opportunity strategies, and collaborate with clients and subcontractors to deliver strong commercial outcomes in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial management experience within construction.
• Strong track record managing costs, contracts and procurement.
• Experience in data centres or complex projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial management across complex construction projects.
• Oversee cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and commercial governance.
• Manage procurement strategy, tender reviews and subcontractor appointments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, technically challenging environments and wants to shape strong commercial outcomes from procurement through to final account.

This role:

• Leading commercial and financial management across complex construction projects
• Overseeing cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and commercial governance
• Managing procurement strategy, tender reviews and subcontractor appointments
• Driving change control, valuations, payment processes and final account agreements
• Providing commercial leadership, mentoring and guidance to project commercial teams

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Significant commercial management experience within construction
• A strong track record managing costs, contracts, procurement and commercial risk
• Confidence leading commercial strategy, reporting and stakeholder conversations
• Excellent communication, negotiation and team leadership skills
• Experience in data centres, mission-critical, MEP, fit-out or technically complex projects would be highly advantageous
