Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes. The role spans Site Establishment and Off-Site Infrastructure, handling high-value contracts up to £200m.

You will manage commercial performance, changes, risk, payments and claims across NEC and/or FIDIC contracts, working with Project Managers, Finance and Project Controls in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial management of major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts; FIDIC experience is advantageous.
• Experience managing high-value and complex supply chain contracts.
• Excellent commercial, contractual and financial management skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple contracts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial management across a portfolio of high-value contracts.
• Manage post-award and execution phases.
• Support project teams with commercial decision-making and risk management.
• Oversee change management, payments and claims.
• Support management of supply chain packages > £10m.
• Ensure governance, budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
• Support final accounts close-out and close-out lessons learned.
