Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major nuclear infrastructure programme in the UK. The role covers Site Establishment and Off-Site Infrastructure with hybrid working and high-value contracts up to £200m, focusing on governance, change control and budget reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial management of major infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with NEC contracts; FIDIC experience also advantageous.
• Experience managing high-value and complex supply chain contracts.
• Strong knowledge of change management, compensation events, payments and final accounts.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent commercial, contractual and financial management skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide commercial management across a portfolio of high-value contracts.
• Manage post-award and execution phases of contracts.
• Support project managers with commercial decision-making and risk management.
• Oversee NEC and/or FIDIC contracts, including changes, payments and claims.
• Support management of supply chain packages exceeding £10m.
• Oversee Early Warning process and ensure governance deadlines are met.
• Support resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
• Manage contract changes and budget reporting/forecasting.
• Assist in final accounts agreement and close-out.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure governance and IMS-aligned contract administration.
