The Resolute Group Ltd in Motherwell, Scotland, seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance on major electricity transmission and distribution projects. The role involves ECI to final account, managing a team of QS and ensuring contractual compliance with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.

Salary in the 85,000–90,000 range plus car or car allowance, annual bonus and benefits package; prior heavy civil/infra sector exposure is advantageous.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor on major civil projects.
• Background with Tier 1 or major civil engineering contractors.
• Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge; NEC4 experience essential.
• Experience delivering large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead and develop commercial teams.
• Experience with COINS and CEMAR systems is beneficial.
• Power transmission or substations background welcome but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the commercial management of major infrastructure projects, ensuring profitability and contractual compliance.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from ECI and pre-construction to final account.
• Manage budgets, CVRs, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations and final accounts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Develop and mentor the commercial team.
• Collaborate with project directors and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Provide strategic financial reporting to senior management.
