Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Commercial Manager in England to lead the commercial team across education, healthcare and other interiors projects. You will oversee costing, budgeting and procurement for schemes ranging from £200k to £5m, with a hands-on approach to mentoring Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors.

The role requires 10+ years post-graduate experience, including at least 5 years in construction, and a strong background in dry lining, SFS, joinery or interior works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in construction law, commercial or project management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience; at least 5 years in construction.

Responsibilities

• Costing and accounts for current projects and new projects.
• Cost budgeting, contract administration, sub-contract and procurement.
• Lead and mentor the commercial team of QS and senior QS.
• Ensure structured project costing and commercial processes for sub contractors.
