Job summary

Russell Taylor Group seeks a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to manage projects from estimating through to final accounts, based at their Preston head office. You will lead commercial activities, price accurately, and safeguard profitability within NHS, mental health and wider commercial sectors.

You will engage with Project Managers and Contract Managers to maximize tender success and ensure cost control across refurbishment, M&E installations and capital works in live healthcare

Qualifications

• Experience managing project costs, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Strong knowledge of tender pricing and commercial risk management.
• Experience reviewing construction contracts and tender documentation.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and tendering: Review tender docs and prepare cost estimates.
• Commercial management: Own project costs, budgets, forecasts and performance.
• Cost control and profitability: Monitor spend and protect margins.
