Job summary

Myton Food Group seeks a Senior Commercial Manager to drive growth in the Produce Division within Morrisons and new customers. You will own the sales plan for Fruit Categories, delivering revenue and margin growth while managing key retailer relationships and cross-functional teams.

The role requires significant produce category experience, strong P&L skills, and leadership to influence senior stakeholders. A mobile role with 3 days on-site at Thrapston and travel to core customers is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant Produce Category experience in a senior retailer-facing role.
• Expert knowledge of multiple retail produce categories, supply chains and launch processes.
• Proven business development track record with insight-driven selling.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management, margin optimisation and commercial analysis.
• Tenacious leader with people management skills and senior stakeholder influence.
• Informed on consumer food trends with ability to translate insights into EBITDA growth.
• Flexible and mobile: 3+ days at Thrapston site and travel to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a 1–3 year plan to hit revenue, profit, EBITDA and margin targets.
• Drive profitable core business and win new business with strategic/tactical moves.
• Manage senior retailer relationships (Morrisons and others) and cross-functional teams.
• Lead and guide the Commercial Account Manager and Graduate support in Produce.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Technical and Insight teams for forecasts and NPD delivery.
• Provide commercial strategy and market insights to the SLT, analyze competitor behavior.
• Deliver pricing changes to recover margin and cost price inflation.
• Drive innovation and category partnerships for new business wins.
