Cowi is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead contractual and commercial strategies across projects, bids and portfolios in the UK. The role involves pre-contract strategy, contract review, risk management and post-contract administration.

You will translate complex contract terms into practical implications, ensuring risks are understood, allocated and managed. Hybrid working across multiple UK cities is available.

Formación

• Significant experience in a senior contracts/commercial role within engineering consultancy or infrastructure.
• Experience with NEC3 and NEC4 and familiarity with standard forms.
• Ability to translate contract terms into commercial and delivery implications.

Responsabilidades

• Manage commercial inputs during pre-contract and bid stages, including ITTs, terms, pricing and procurement strategy.
• Review contracts to identify commercial, programme liabilities and delivery risks.
• Advise bid and project teams on risk allocation and commercial strategy.
• Develop procurement and contracting strategies aligned to client objectives and risk appetite.
• Draft, review and negotiate consultancy and sub-consultancy agreements and other documentation.
• Lead or support contract negotiations with clients and supply chain partners.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation and support evaluation and negotiation to award.
• Provide post-contract commercial management including change control, notices and claims.
• Establish contract mobilisation and controls, ensuring obligations and milestones are managed.
• Advise clients and project teams, coordinating with Legal, Finance and technical teams.
