Job Description

The Buildings Commercial Team, part of the Buildings Market Business Unit, manages commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of projects in line with Ramboll Group processes. Responsibilities include overseeing commercial activities during bid and delivery phases, advising on cost and contractual issues, administering contracts, and supporting risk mitigation and opportunity maximization.

To succeed, candidates should have extensive experience in engineering and construction, with a strong understanding of engineering and construction contracts, especially those related to professional services.

You will join our Commercial Team

Be part of Ramboll’s growing commercial team in a collaborative environment that fosters development. Collaborate with other commercial teams across markets and regions.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing estimates and tender documentation, inputting data into internal systems and producing reports.
• Support contract negotiation, cost analysis, and risk identification.
• Monitor project financials, report issues, and support project controls including invoicing and change management.
• Manage supply chain activities, including subcontractor appointment.
• Review contracts and project progress, attend meetings, and represent the commercial team.
• Negotiate contractual terms and resolve claims, including disputes and legal processes.
• Maintain commercial records and support performance reporting.

• A relevant higher education qualification.
• Near or full professional qualification.
• Experience in estimating, valuation, or cost reporting.
• Knowledge of project controls, management tools, and programming techniques.
• Experience within a construction or engineering consultancy environment.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic skills.
