  • Ensure audits are carried out and feedback is provided to the business.
  • Provide commercial input to contacts with clients and, if necessary, client’s representatives.
  • Provide commercial advice to the site team in connection with all project issues and give input to area commercial discussions/reviews.
  • Participate in discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategy.
  • Manage the Project Commercial Managers to ensure production of monthly cost and value reports, quarterly forecasts, and company‑tied costs.
  • Obtain cash‑flow information and, alongside the Project Commercial Managers, present all reports.
  • Support and input to dispute identification and management.
  • Support and input during negotiation of insurance claims with the insurer’s representatives.
  • Agree terms and engage legal and commercial consultants and monitor their accounts.
  • Maintain contact with supply chain partners through contract vetting and input to contract documentation.
  • Carry out sub‑contract document vetting and input to sub‑contract documentation.
Qualifications
  • Experienced Commercial Manager with a proven track record on large‑scale infrastructure projects, ready for the next step up.
  • Joint Venture experience.
  • Member of a Professional Institution or working toward application of the ICES, or similar.
  • Open collaborative approach and willingness to help and assist others.
  • Educated to Degree level in a relevant Commercial, Construction or Project Management qualification (preferred but not essential).
