Position Overview

As a Senior Commercial / Commercial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence, ensuring governance, and providing expert advice across key projects, programmes, and bids. This is an exciting chance to shape business success while managing commercial risk in a dynamic environment.

Location: Bristol

Security Clearance: SC (or eligible for clearance)

Reports to: Head of Commercial

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Lead commercial advisor across projects, programmes, and bids
  2. Reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts, frameworks, and subcontracts
  3. Leading contract renegotiations to manage risk and drive business growth
  4. Providing commercial advice throughout the bid process
  5. Ensuring compliance with UK MoD procurement policies and commercial governance
  6. Developing pricing and partnering strategies for competitive advantage

  1. Strong experience in commercial management, particularly within UK MoD contracts (DEFCONs, procurement regulations)
  2. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  3. A strategic thinker with a keen eye for risk management and business growth
