Job summary

ERSG Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial activity on a portfolio of renewable connection projects nationwide. The role requires strategic leadership, robust contract management and strong governance across high-value contracts (£5m-£50m).

The successful candidate will oversee interfaces with clients, partners and supply chain, ensuring compliant delivery of BESS, data centres, wind farms and grid connection works from a commercial perspective.

• Extensive senior commercial management experience on large renewable projects.
• Proven track record delivering high-value contracts (£5m-£50m).
• Experience with FIDIC contracts is essential.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to take a leading commercial role across a portfolio of major renewable connection projects nationwide. This is a senior leadership position suited to someone who has spent a significant period operating at a senior commercial level and is comfortable managing complex, high-value projects from a commercial and contractual perspective.

Role

You'll be responsible for providing strong commercial leadership across projects including:

• BESS / Battery Storage
• Data Centres
• Wind Farms
• Renewable energy and grid connection infrastructure

Projects typically ranging from £5m-£50m.

What I'm Looking For

• Strong, established Senior Commercial Management / Commercial Leadership experience
• Proven experience managing large-scale renewable connection projects
• Background across BESS, data centres, wind farms or associated energy infrastructure
• FIDIC experience is essential
• JCT and NEC experience would be advantageous
• Strong experience managing lump-sum / fixed-price contracts
• Commercial responsibility across projects valued between £5m-£50m
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and commercial governance experience
• Ability to operate nationally across a portfolio of projects
• Midlands-based with flexibility for hybrid working and nationwide project coverage
