Job summary

Enable Group is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial team on a portfolio of energy connections and infrastructure projects. You will drive commercial strategy, oversight of contracts, and financial reporting from pre-construction through to final account.

Ideal candidates have a formal Quantity Surveying qualification, RICS membership, and a track record in infrastructure or power projects with strong leadership and client engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Senior Commercial Manager with leadership experience in infrastructure.
• Formal Quantity Surveying qualification (degree preferred).
• RICS membership advantageous.
• Experience in infrastructure construction and energy connections/renewables preferred.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills.
• Experience managing cost control, subcontractors and multi-project reporting.
• Confident in engaging clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial team across pre-construction to final account.
• Maintain accurate turnover, cost and cash forecasting and reporting.
• Create and use processes for proactive contract management and administration.
• Manage change, risk and periodic financial reporting.
• Line-manage and train direct reports and represent the wider Commercial Team externally.

Given recent project wins and growth in the energy connections industry we are seeking to employ a Commercial Manager to join and lead the commercial team. For this role you will ideally possess an energy connections, renewables or power background, however other infrastructure construction considered such as highways, rail, civil engineering with excellent commercial management skills controlling portfolios of multi-million pound construction contracts. Experience of leading a team of individuals at various stages of their careers, across multiple disciplines is required. The rolePositive commercial strategisation and administration for our portfolio of projects is essential to ensure the effective delivery of successful results and management of key risks and opportunities. This role requires the leadership of a commercial team towards the effective commercial management of a portfolio of projects and frameworks from pre-construction to final account. The role will ensure the effective administration and management of the projects in line with the IMS, maintaining accurate reports and forecasts and will lead the creation and utilisation of a variety of processes which will ensure proactive contract management and administration, accurate turnover, cost and cash forecasting, change and risk management and periodic financial reporting. This role will involve line management and training of direct reports as well as representing the wider Commercial Team both in internal and external capacities
