Matchtech is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of major framework contracts and capital programmes within UK infrastructure sectors. You will manage a team of commercial professionals and ensure NEC governance while driving profitability and client delivery.

The role suits an established Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor stepping into a senior leadership position in a regulated framework environment, with clear career progression and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge and application.
• Experience delivering in regulated/framework environments.
• Backgrounds include utilities, water, rail, highways, telecoms, energy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of long-term framework contracts and capital delivery programmes.
• Mentor and develop a team of commercial professionals.
• Ensure governance and administration of NEC contracts.
• Drive commercial performance, profitability and contract compliance.
• Provide strategic commercial support to operational and project teams.
• Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present commercial reports to senior stakeholders.
• Support procurement, subcontract management, contract negotiations and change control.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across frameworks.
• Contribute to business planning, forecasting and continuous improvement.
