Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Account Handling in an insurance brokerage.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy administration.
• Experience handling renewals, new business, mid-term adjustments and client inquiries.
• Understanding FCA regulations and compliance within a broking environment.
• Experience building relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters.
• Familiarity with Acturis or Open GI, alongside Microsoft Office.
• Cert CII or willing to work towards the qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance clients, including new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and claims-related queries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters.
• Review existing policies and re-broke business where appropriate to secure suitable and cost-effective cover.
• Provide clear insurance advice and guidance based on clients’ needs and requirements.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer suitable leads to the relevant team members.
• Support Account Executives with client servicing and other account management duties as required.
• Handle client queries and complaints professionally, ensuring they are resolved in line with company procedures.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations, internal procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is completed to a high standard.
• Contribute to team performance and ongoing business development.
