Job summary

Independent Insurance Broker in Coventry is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Account Handler to deliver outstanding service to an existing portfolio of commercial clients through the policy lifecycle.

You will manage policies from inception to renewal, handle renewals and mid-term adjustments, and liaise with insurers to secure favourable terms while supporting Account Executives and strengthening client relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broker.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products across multiple classes of business.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• Proactive and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial insurance policies from inception through to renewal.
• Processing renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy amendments.
• Acting as the first point of contact for client queries with professional advice.
• Liaising with insurers to secure competitive terms and best outcomes.
• Supporting Account Executives where required.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships with insurer partners.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and portfolio growth.
