Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Commercial Governance Manager for a regional role, focusing on governance frameworks, risk management and contract administration in a Midlands/North West context. The position commands a salary range of £100,000–£115,000 plus a package and offers strong senior stakeholder exposure.

The role requires a commercial management or quantity surveying background within a main contractor or infrastructure setting.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying within a Main Contractor or Infrastructure environment.
• Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Experience in cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Proven governance, risk management and commercial controls experience.
• Ability to support multiple projects and stakeholders regionally.
• Strategic role aiming to influence governance across the regional business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain commercial governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with standards, contractual obligations and client requirements.
• Provide oversight on NEC and JCT contract administration.
• Lead commercial reporting, auditing and KPI monitoring.
• Support bid governance, risk management and financial scrutiny.
• Ensure controls around variations, liabilities and commercial exposure.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operational, Estimating and Pre-Construction teams.
• Identify commercial risks and mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and controls.
• Support senior leadership with governance reporting.
• Promote consistency of commercial best practice across projects.
