Zusammenfassung

PTSG Ltd, a market leader in specialist services to the construction and FM sectors, is seeking an experienced Commercial Governance and Assurance Manager to oversee governance, conduct contract reviews, resolve disputes and provide commercial capability across the Group.

Based in Nottingham with hybrid working and some travel to other offices, you will review terms, maintain an auditable trail and support the Head of Commercial Excellence to improve risk management and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Substantial senior commercial management or quantity surveying experience in construction or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts, payment legislation, change control, delay, final accounts and disputes.
• Direct pre-signature review experience and ability to articulate risk.
• Ability to analyse complex facts, form balanced positions and communicate clearly.
• Credibility to challenge senior stakeholders and train others, with good data skills.

Aufgaben

• Review key terms (payment, retention, liability, insurance, notices, delay) against quotations.
• Maintain an auditable review trail and monitor the Delegation of Authority.
• Administer and improve contract review processes and governance.
• Manage live disputes, including adjudication preparation and settlements.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial submissions and correspondence for evidence-based outcomes.
• Maintain a tracker of value, risk, status and actions; share lessons learned as controls and guidance.
• Support health-check programmes to identify gaps and corrective actions across contracts.
