Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Project Surveyor/Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on major construction projects around Birmingham. You will own subcontract procurement, valuations, and final accounts while guiding risk and opportunity planning with project leaders.

Role requires a Degree in Quantity Surveying and chartered status (MRICS/MCIOB or working toward). Strong Excel, BIM, and measurement software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• MRICS/MCIOB or working toward chartered status is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, BIM and measurement software is expected.

Responsabilités

• Lead commercial strategy across major construction packages and manage subcontract procurement.
• Produce accurate cost reports (CVRs), cash flow projections and margin forecasts with project leads.
• Manage client valuations, account for variations, and close main contract and subcontract final accounts.
• Drive risk and opportunity planning and ensure compliance with commercial procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop design strategy and maintain strong commercial governance.
