️ Senior Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Manchester & surrounding areas

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Gas Engineer for our client in Manchester. This is a hands-on and mobile role, providing planned and reactive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair across a variety of commercial properties.

You will be a key player in delivering high-quality service, leading more junior engineers on complex jobs, and supporting contract delivery and compliance across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
2. Diagnose faults and repair commercial boilers, heaters, and pipework.
3. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
4. Complete safety checks, gas inspections, and compliance documentation.
5. Liaise with clients on-site and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
6. Maintain health and safety and adhere to company procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial gas engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of H&S regulations and safe systems of work.
• Excellent communication skills.
