Purpose

We seek an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. You will be the key contact for commercial finance, planning, and analysis, working closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Insight teams to influence strategy and support profitable growth. Reporting to the CFO, this role offers independence and significant strategic influence, ideal for someone with broad commercial finance experience, especially in eCommerce and performance marketing.

Accountabilities:

• Manage all financial aspects of Gross Margin, including trade strategy development and scenario planning.
• Create financial models, assess initiatives, and contribute to budgeting and long-term planning.
• Provide insights and reporting to various teams, supporting decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance leaders to translate strategic plans into financial outcomes, managing risks.
• Oversee performance reporting, identify key trends, and communicate challenges to leadership.
• Assist with monthly performance and marketing spend processes.
• Partner with teams on budgeting, forecasting, and post-campaign analysis.
• Enhance financial awareness across teams and support ad hoc analyses.

Technical Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant industry experience, preferably in eCommerce or marketing analytics.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership with strong commercial insight.
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with modeling, and familiarity with SQL is advantageous.
• Numerate, detail-oriented, and capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in online retail and performance marketing.
• Degree at 2:1 or higher (or equivalent).
