Job description

Our client, a leader in their field is now recruiting a newly created role which will play a key role in the commercial finance team.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business this role will suit someone who has well-honed finance skills coupled with a keen commercial acumen and duties will include

• Ownership of month end reporting and controls and delivery with commentary
• Overheads control and analysis
• Responsibility for delivery of weekly reporting, trend and variance analysis with recommendations
• Development of insightful commercial analysis and reporting including KPI dashboards
• Annual budgeting and bimonthly reforecasting
• Working closely with commercial and operations teams working collaboratively towards driving business growth

The successful candidate will be a post-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) ideally with experience working in the FMCG, manufacturing or retail sectors.

As you would expect, advanced Excel skills are essential and experience using Power BI would be advantageous. Experience working with ERP systems would also be very valuable.
