Stride Resource Management Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Commercial Claims Handler to manage motor fleet and motor trade claims for a varied client portfolio. You will guide claims from notification through settlement, liaising with clients, insurers and loss adjusters.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000-£45,000 with discretionary bonus and a hybrid working pattern, typically three days per week in the office, with flexibility to fit business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial insurance claims within a brokerage or insurer environment.
• Knowledge of Motor Fleet or Motor Trade claims and wider commercial insurance.
• Ability to manage complex claims and communicate with insurers, loss adjusters and clients.
• Strong organisational skills and record-keeping.
• Proactive approach to resolving issues for clients.

Responsibilities

• Commercial claims handling across Motor Fleet, Motor Trade and wider commercial policies.
• Take responsibility for progressing claims, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and clients.
• Apply experience to more involved claims and identify potential issues.
• Act as a trusted point of contact, providing updates and support throughout the process.
• Negotiate with insurers and relevant third parties to progress settlements.
• Gain experience across a varied commercial portfolio and develop technical knowledge.
