Job summary

Celtic Horizons is seeking a Commercial & Business Support Manager in South Wales. You will lead a central support function, delivering commercial, financial and assurance activities to improve service delivery and cost efficiency.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop the team, strengthen controls and provide MI to inform decisions and change programmes that shape the organisation's future operating model.

Qualifications

• Commercial, financial and business support experience required.
• Experience managing business support, commercial, operational or assurance functions.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of financial controls, expenditure management and business reporting.
• Experience implementing processes and driving operational improvements.
• Ability to analyse data and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decisions across multiple departments.
• Proactive, organised and adaptable approach.
• Experience within social housing or similar operational environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the Commercial & Business Support function.
• Oversee financial controls including purchase orders, expenditure approvals and invoice processes.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to improve cost visibility.
• Develop and maintain business assurance processes including audits and compliance.
• Oversee fleet, supplier and subcontractor management arrangements.
• Support health and safety assurance activities across teams.
• Improve administrative processes across the business.
• Produce management information to identify risks, trends and opportunities.
• Support organisational change programmes and future operating model implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement and enhance business performance.
