Job Summary

As a Senior Commercial Accountant, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and associated financial reporting for the Portas Group. Based in London, you will produce insightful financial information for decision-makers, supporting the optimisation of the Group's financial performance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Production of the quarterly management accounts and rolling monthly forecast including variance analysis and insight-based projections
Produce the Financial Pack for the Quarterly Partner meeting and the financial reporting for the annual budgeting process
Produce weekly project profitability reports and work with Project Managers and ensure forecast revenue trackers for all entities are up to date
Ensure the fee estimator process is undertaken in line with policy and support Partners with pricing decisions as required

The ideal candidate must have the following:

Experience in a high growth sport or professional services organization as Commercial Accountant/Finance Business Partner
Accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Advanced Excel skills and ideally experienced in platforms like Xero or CMAP
Good attention to detail and high levels of quality control
Excellent communication skills with senior senior staff and stakeholders
Strong professional standards with a positive “can-do” attitude
