• Proficiency in Account Management and Renewals, including managing a client portfolio and handling mid-term changes.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, active listening, and building long-term client relationships.
• Good understanding of insurance products, policy wordings, and insurer markets, with the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in using insurance broking systems and standard office software; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., progress toward CII or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in a handling or similar role within an insurance brokerage environment is a requirement

Role Description The Senior Account Handler is a full-time role based in East Grinstead. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries. The Senior Account Handler will liaise with insurers to obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure documentation is accurate and delivered on time.
