Cameron James Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler in Grays, Essex to manage full lifecycle client accounts across a range of commercial risks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle account management from onboarding to renewal.
• Broking & renewals: prepare renewal documentation, market risks to insurers, negotiate terms and MTAs.
• New business & retention: assist with quotes and client presentations, cross-selling to improve retention.
• Handle complex commercial policies across multiple lines (Commercial Combined, Public/Employers’ Liability, Motor Fleet, Financial Lines).

Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Location: Grays, Essex

Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to advance your career with a leading national insurance broker?

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Account Handler to join an established team in Grays. Managing full lifecycle client accounts across a broad range of commercial risks, this role offers excellent exposure, strong professional support, and a competitive flex-benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Lifecycle Account Management: Manage cross-class commercial client accounts from onboarding to renewal.


• Broking & Renewals: Prepare comprehensive renewal documentation, market risks to insurers, negotiate favorable terms, and handle mid-term adjustments (MTAs).


• New Business & Retention: Assist with new business quotes, client presentations, and proactive cross-selling to ensure high client retention rates.


• Diverse Product Lines: Handle complex commercial policies including Commercial Combined, Public/Employers' Liability, Motor Fleet, and Financial Lines (D&O, PI).

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in a Commercial Insurance Account Handling role within a broker setting is essential.


• Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with cross-class commercial insurance (Combined, Liability, Fleet, and Financial Lines).


• Communication: Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.


• Qualifications: Cert CII or working toward insurance qualifications (highly desirable).
