Job summary

WF Tech is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer for a precision manufacturing business in Hertfordshire. You will set and operate turning machines to manufacture high-precision components to engineering drawings, working as part of a dedicated engineering team.

This permanent role offers days only (8am–4pm), with a salary of £40,000–£50,000 per annum DOE. You will work with modern CNC machinery and be part of a quality-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years CNC machining experience in a precision environment.
• Experience with CNC lathes and DMG MORI machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Experience with first-off inspection checks.
• Attention to detail and precise machining.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines.
• Define machine datums and edit offsets.
• Prove out new jobs and perform first-off checks.
• Read drawings and maintain tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with team leaders to plan production.
