Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer in Romsey, Hampshire. Salary £38,000-£40,000 DOE, 39 hours/week, permanent, full-time. You will programme, set and operate CNC turning machines, reading engineering drawings and producing high-precision components from one-off to batches of 40.

Experience with Fanuc programming is beneficial; aerospace/high-precision background advantageous. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
• Strong programming and setting experience.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience producing precision, tight-tolerance components.
• Knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.
• Fanuc programming experience beneficial.
• Aerospace or high-precision background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines.
• Produce components from one-off to batches of 40.
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set tooling, offsets and work-holding.
• Ensure components meet tolerances and quality.
• Carry out quality checks during machining.
• Make programme and offset adjustments as required.
• Collaborate with a skilled precision engineering team.
