Job summary

The Recruitment Group is supporting a precision engineering specialist in Rugby who is looking for a CNC Programmer / Setter. You will set and operate Fixed Head CNC turning machines, producing high-tolerance components for safety-critical sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience reading NC programs and setting up tools.
• Strong background in fixed head turning CNC.
• Ability to read drawings and follow tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set, program and operate Fixed Head CNC turning machines.
• Produce first-off components to drawing.
• Manage tooling, offsets, wear and replacements as needed.
• Complete in-process inspection using measurement equipment.
• Update production systems and maintain accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement and move products to manufacturing NPI/TPM.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards.
