Job summary

Corriculo Ltd is recruiting a CNC Programmer to join a busy UK engineering business in Cambridge. You will program, set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis milling centres to produce precision components for R&D and manufacturing.

You will use MasterCAM, SolidWorks or Vericut to simulate toolpaths, interpret drawings to micron tolerances, ensure proper work holding and metrology, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a machine shop with 3-axis and 5-axis milling.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM software and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to read to micron-level tolerances and use metrology tools.
• Collaborative, problem-solving approach with focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis milling centres to produce precision components.
• Simulate/toolpath validation using CAM software before first-off machining.
• Ensure proper work holding, metrology and safe working practices.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to support machining activities and continuous improvement.
