You will read detailed drawings, select tooling and optimise speeds/feeds to meet tight tolerances, in collaboration with Production and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in CNC programming and milling operations.
• Offline programming using CAD/CAM packages such as AlphaCAM.
• Ability to read GD&T and complex drawings with precision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programmes using AlphaCAM.
• Create efficient CNC milling programmes for horizontal and vertical centres.
• Interpret detailed drawings and develop work holding solutions.
• Select tooling, speeds and feeds to optimise performance.
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to improve processes.
• Create and optimise programmes for various machining centres.
• Support day-to-day shop floor activities as required.
• Review and update existing programmes to boost productivity and quality.
