Moog is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership across machining operations and NPI in our Tewkesbury facility. You will lead lean initiatives, optimise complex aerospace machining processes using Siemens NX, and mentor engineers.

You will review drawings for manufacturability, drive PFMEA, Control Plans and MSA studies, and partner with suppliers to deliver robust processes while pursuing operational excellence.

Qualificações

• Significant Manufacturing Engineering experience in a precision machining environment.
• 5 Axis Milling and/or Mill Turn background.
• Advanced CNC programming using Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of DfM, PFMEA, GD&T and process optimisation.
• Experience leading NPI programmes from concept to production.
• Ability to lead technical projects and mentor colleagues.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead lean manufacturing processes focused on quality, cost and delivery.
• Create and optimise machining processes for complex aerospace components using Siemens NX and CAD/CAM.
• Provide DfM input during product development.
• Lead APQP activities such as PFMEA, Control Plans and MSA studies.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime and improve process capability.
• Review drawings and recommend manufacturability improvements.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Mentor Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in tooling, gauging and fixture design.
• Support strategic manufacturing initiatives and operational excellence programmes.
