Job summary

Dover Precision Components in the United Kingdom is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve a precision engineering site with 30+ CNC tools. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics, and collaborate with engineers to enhance reliability and safety.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance, 5+ years on CNC machines (Lathes/Mills/Borers), and desirable IPAF, lifting/slinging, and FLT

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent time-served apprenticeship) in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of CNC machine tools (Lathes, Mills and Horizontal Borers).
• Valid IPAF certification (Desirable).
• Trained in lifting and slinging (Desirable).
• Certified forklift truck (FLT) driver (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a broad range of CNC machines, manual tools and ancillary equipment.
• Maintenance of general site services and facilities where relevant.
• Carry out fault diagnostics and implement corrective actions through troubleshooting.
• Assist / Liaise with contractors on specialised repairs and projects.
• On-call work may be required in emergency situations.
