Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Glasgow is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the continuous upkeep and improvement of precision engineering facilities and production equipment, including 30+ CNC machine tools. You will work to planned maintenance programmes and handle reactive repairs to enhance reliability and safety.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience in CNC maintenance, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), and strong communication skills to work with colleagues and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent time-served apprenticeship) in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in repair and maintenance of CNC machine tools (Lathes, Mills, Horizontal Borers).
• Desirable IPAF certification, lifting/slinging, and FLT certification.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a broad range of CNC machines and ancillary equipment.
• Maintain general site services and facilities where relevant.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions through troubleshooting.
• Perform routine inspections and cleaning of machinery.
• Collaborate with contractors on specialised repairs/projects.
• 'On Call' work may be required in emergency situations (24/5).
