Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an infrastructure professional to support the migration of mission‑critical systems to AWS. You will work within a high‑performing Infrastructure Team, focusing on refactor, replatform, and rehost of applications while driving cloud transformation through IaC and DevSecOps practices.

The role involves designing and maintaining AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments, Linux/Windows administration, and strong networking.

Qualifications

• AWS certification with hands-on design and deployment experience.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows OS in large corporate environments.
• Strong IPv4 networking knowledge including subnetting and routing.
• Automation experience using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility for highest level UK Government security clearance (UK national required).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.
• Administer Linux and Windows-based environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking across cloud and hybrid systems.
• Automate deployment, operations, and maintenance tasks using IaC and configuration management tooling.
• Continuously expand skills and maintain relevant certifications.
