Job summary

Fundment Limited is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and continually improve security across our cloud and IT infrastructure for a fast-growing fintech platform.

You will translate security strategy into scalable, automated controls, secure-by-design principles, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with the IT Infrastructure team. The role emphasizes hands-on cloud security, IAM, and threat modelling.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in cloud or infrastructure security engineering.
• Experience securing GCP environments and cloud identity.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls and audits.
• Hands-on with IaC, CI/CD security, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls in GCP.
• Design security architecture for identity, networking, and data protection.
• Embed security in CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
• Perform threat modelling, risk assessments, and security reviews.
• Advance security monitoring, detection, and automation across the stack.
• Lead identity and endpoint security, including MFA and least-privilege.
