Job summary

Quant Capital, a FinTech firm in South West London, seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to own core infrastructure and security engineering in a Microsoft/Azure environment. You will deliver projects spanning infrastructure, automation, and cloud security, acting as a technical escalation point.

You'll work across Windows, networking, identity, cloud, and security—owning problems end to end while guiding a small infra team in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server and Windows client estates.
• Strong networking skills including VPN, DNS, and firewall concepts.
• Security-focused with patch management, vulnerability assessments and policy rollout.
• Experience in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments (Microsoft-centric).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and support of IT infrastructure services.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain high availability, resilience, and performance in hybrid environments.
• Oversee servers, storage, network, backup, and virtualization platforms.
• Ensure disaster recovery readiness and infrastructure security standards.
• Monitor security threats and respond to incidents; manage endpoint protection and email security.
• Lead and develop the Infra team with strong leadership and people management.
