Job summary

Recognise Bank is seeking a leader to deliver secure, reliable and scalable technology platforms supporting the bank’s systems, applications and data services. You will provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, automation and platform engineering to ensure resilient solutions aligned with risk and control standards.

The role requires driving deployment, observability and operational excellence while safeguarding cloud environments through governance and security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and supporting cloud-based technology platforms.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and driving engineering improvements.
• Experience operating infrastructure as code and automation practices.
• Experience supporting change management, incident management and operational support processes.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, security and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Own infrastructure automation standards to improve resilience and deployment efficiency.
• Drive platform engineering best practices across deployment and observability.
• Manage availability, performance and operational health of platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, security and risk teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Improve resilience through proactive service improvements and incident management.
• Define and maintain platform standards, controls and documentation.
• Guide engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
