Job summary

FairPlay Sports Media is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to own and evolve security for our Google Cloud Platform. You will strengthen infrastructure security, automate guardrails, and advance our zero-trust IAM and incident response capabilities.

You’ll work across engineering teams to embed security in IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform, while coordinating with MDR partners to protect assets and drive rapid, compliant security outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Security Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE in a modern cloud environment.
• Deep hands-on expertise in GCP IAM, Workload Identity, VPC, Org Policy, Security Command Center and containerisation.
• Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to embed automated security guardrails.
• Scripting/Development in Python, Go, or Bash to build internal security tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve security posture of Google Cloud Platform environment.
• Level up detection and response capabilities; move toward Zero Trust models.
• Automate security guardrails in IaC and delivery pipelines.
• Lead security operations and incident response with MDR partner.
• Manage vulnerability lifecycle and perimeter detection pipelines.
