Job summary

FairPlay Sports Media seeks a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to own and evolve security across our Google Cloud environment. You’ll harden identity, automate guardrails, and advance Zero Trust while integrating with our delivery pipelines.

You will lead security operations, collaborate with MDR partners, and drive policy improvements across engineering teams in a hybrid London work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Security Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE in a modern cloud environment.
• Hands-on in GCP (IAM, Workload Identity, VPC, Policy) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to embed security guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Automate security guardrails in GCP and IaC to enable safe code deployment.
• Lead security operations, incident response, and Zero Trust initiatives with MDR partner.
• Design least-privilege IAM and mature Zero Trust architectures across cloud environments.
