Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled GCP DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle while enabling rapid, scalable, and reliable application delivery.

This role focuses on cloud automation, IaC with Terraform, and secure, automated deployments across containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• IAM, VPC Networking, Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, availability, and cost.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, security teams, and architects to ensure secure delivery practices.
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
