Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a senior Cloud Security Engineer to advance our security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will architect secure cloud environments, build detection logic at scale, and drive improvements across monitoring and AI-enabled security operations.

You will collaborate with Engineering, GRC, and Security Operations to define standards, tune SIEM (Sentinel) and enforce policy-as-code, ensuring alignment with PCI DSS, NIST, and ISO27001 frameworks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years securing AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, SentinelOne, NetSkope, Wiz or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of PCI DSS, NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO27001, CIS Benchmarks, and MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Secure and continuously improve our multi-cloud estate (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Fine tune and maintain SIEM platform, including detection rules and AI-assisted alerting.
• Design guardrails for AI/LLM systems and integrate AI into security workflows.
