Job summary

ClearBank operates a remote-first Security Engineering team across the UK, dedicated to reducing cyber risk while maintaining autonomy and transparency. You will help weave security into cloud-native systems and enable secure product delivery.

You will collaborate with engineers, explore AI security, champion best practices, and assess new tools to protect customers in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience writing code in a cloud-native environment with security controls.
• Strong knowledge of software security and common vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication to explain risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security engineers to understand processes and technologies.
• Build skills in AI security, application security, and stay current with emerging tech.
• Assist software development and platform teams to deliver secure products.
• Champion security best practices and run security consultations and training sessions.
• Trial new technologies and evaluate their adoption.
• Support existing security tooling and evaluate new tools as they become available.
• Manage risk-based vulnerability assessment and communicate risks to the business.
