Job summary

Hargreaves Lansdown PLC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team to design, build, and evolve scalable, secure cloud capabilities that empower rapid, reliable software delivery across the business.

You’ll apply platform engineering principles to enable automation, self-service, and cost optimization at scale, mentor engineers, and collaborate across squads to drive best practices and strategic technical direction in a hybrid London/Bristol environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with public cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Strong CI/CD, containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) experience.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, identity management, and compliance (ISO/SOC/GDPR).
