Job summary

VIQU Limited is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud, network and on‑prem infrastructure. The role is remote within the UK and focuses on Azure, security, identity, and monitoring while leading infrastructure projects.

You will manage OS and security tooling, lead migration initiatives and provide senior escalation support across the team, with a strong emphasis on ISO 27001 controls and audit evidence.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Azure infrastructure experience.
• Strong enterprise networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/VPN/DNS/DHCP/VLANs).
• Experience with firewalls (Sophos and/or Barracuda).
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune and NinjaOne.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Mimecast for email/web security.
• VMware vSphere/NSX experience.
• Security-focused with vulnerability management and ISO 27001 knowledge.
• Ability to monitor infrastructure and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to lead projects and act as senior escalation point.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure Azure infrastructure and networking.
• Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation projects.
• Manage enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, DNS, DHCP and VLANs.
• Administer Sophos and/or Barracuda firewalls and related security policies.
• Manage Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA and RBAC.
• Manage Intune and NinjaOne for endpoints and patching.
• Support Microsoft 365, Mimecast and secure web gateway technologies.
• Administer VMware vSphere and NSX environments.
• Monitor performance, investigate alerts and perform root cause analysis.
• Support vulnerability management and infrastructure hardening.
• Maintain ISO 27001 controls and provide audit evidence.
• Lead technical projects, documentation and mentoring across the team.
