Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a Senior Hybrid Platform Engineer to lead the design and delivery of hybrid Azure/on-prem infrastructure in Warwickshire. The role focuses on Azure-based platform transformation, automation, and production support, with Terraform driving IaC-based changes.

Applicants should bring deep Azure expertise, VMware knowledge, and Terraform experience to manage compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise Azure experience.
• Hands-on Azure Networking, Compute, Storage, Entra ID and Security.
• Strong Terraform/IaC experience.
• VMware vSphere/ESXi administration.
• Windows Server and Active Directory expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of hybrid platform and infrastructure changes.
• Drive Azure platform modernisation and Landing Zone migration.
• Manage Azure compute, networking, storage, identity and security services.
• Maintain Azure/on-prem hybrid connectivity.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Lead troubleshooting, incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Work with Architecture, Security and Engineering teams on platform improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and platform standards.
