Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking an experienced Azure Technical Architect to support the design and delivery of Azure infrastructure across multiple project workstreams. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can translate designs into practical architectures and work alongside the Infrastructure team.

The position is fully remote for a 3-month contract, with a focus on Terraform-based infrastructure, ExpressRoute/Azure Firewall networking, IAM and security governance, and delivering clear

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing Azure infrastructure and platforms.
• Ability to translate designs into architecture documents and specifications.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Azure IAM, security and governance.
• Strong communication with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Azure technical designs and specifications.
• Provide architectural input across multiple Azure project workstreams.
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Design and support Azure networking solutions (ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall).
• Define and implement Azure IAM, managed identities and roles.
• Supplement the existing infrastructure team with Azure expertise.
• Ensure designs meet requirements and security standards.
• Provide hands-on support during implementation and document best practices.
