Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is handling a senior cloud infrastructure contracting role in Reading. The position focuses on designing, building, and deploying cloud infrastructure, including hybrid cloud and major on-prem to cloud migration initiatives.

The contractor will work on a defence project with a two-day-per-week onsite hybrid model, six-month rolling contract, inside IR35, and a daily rate up to £650. Experience with VMware NSX and Aria is advantageous.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design, build, and deployment.
Enterprise VMware experience, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
Experience with NSX or NSX-T.
Experience supporting on-premise to cloud migration.
Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Experience in infrastructure architecture and implementation.
Experience with cloud platform integration and transformation.
Active SC clearance required.
Experience with vSAN, HCX, or VMware Aria would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the design, build, and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
Support a significant on-premise to cloud migration programme.
Work on hybrid cloud infrastructure within a major defence project.
Contribute to infrastructure architecture and implementation.
