Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is handling a senior cloud infrastructure contracting role in Reading. The position focuses on designing, building, and deploying cloud infrastructure, including hybrid cloud and major on-prem to cloud migration initiatives.

The contractor will work on a defence project with a two-day-per-week onsite hybrid model, six-month rolling contract, inside IR35, and a daily rate up to £650. Experience with VMware NSX and Aria is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design, build, and deployment.
• Enterprise VMware experience, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Experience with NSX or NSX-T.
• Experience supporting on-premise to cloud migration.
• Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in infrastructure architecture and implementation.
• Experience with cloud platform integration and transformation.
• Active SC clearance required.
• Experience with vSAN, HCX, or VMware Aria would be advantageous.

• Take ownership of the design, build, and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
• Support a significant on-premise to cloud migration programme.
• Work on hybrid cloud infrastructure within a major defence project.
